Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Truck/Heavy Vehicle Driver for a contract position in Dubai. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy vehicles to transport goods safely.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Load and unload cargo as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience driving heavy vehicles.
- Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license.
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission trucks.
- Knowledge of Dubai roads and traffic regulations.
- Physical ability to load and unload cargo.
- Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance.
Working conditions
Work involves long hours and possible night shifts. Must be able to work in various weather conditions. Contract position based in Dubai.
