Role overview
We are looking for an experienced Painter to join our team in Qatar. The role involves preparing and painting surfaces on various projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
- Erect scaffolding or set up ladders to perform tasks above ground level.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment after use.
- Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear at all times.
Requirements
- 5 years of professional painting experience.
- Proficiency in using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and color vision.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, and work at heights for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
Nice to have
- Experience with decorative painting techniques.
- Familiarity with industrial painting equipment.
Working conditions
Work is performed on various sites in Qatar. Must be willing to work in different weather conditions and on flexible schedules.
