Role overview
We are hiring an experienced Truck Driver in California for a full-time position. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations.
Responsibilities
- Transport goods to designated locations safely and on time.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Ensure cargo is loaded and secured correctly.
- Adhere to all state and federal driving regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and road teams.
Requirements
- 6 years of truck driving experience.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with state and federal transportation laws.
- Ability to inspect trucks and recognize maintenance needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills on the road.
- Excellent communication skills and punctuality.
Working conditions
Primarily on the road with variable hours based on delivery schedules. Some long-distance travel required. Must be able to handle physical demands of loading/unloading cargo when needed.
