The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has recently issued Ministerial Resolution No. 122 of 2026, which establishes new accommodation requirements for workers in establishments with 50 or more employees. Key requirements include ensuring that accommodations are safe, properly supervised, and equipped to meet the needs of all workers, including those with disabilities.

The resolution mandates 24-hour security at accommodation facilities and outlines the necessary amenities, such as adequate cooling systems, rest areas, and access to medical facilities.
