The UAE has expanded its Wage Protection System, adding seven banks to facilitate safer and quicker salary payments for employees in the private sector.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in the UAE has further developed its Wage Protection System (WPS) by integrating seven new financial institutions, improving the flexibility and security of salary payments for employers. This initiative is expected to cut administrative processes by approximately 90% and ensures that employers can make salary payments digitally without lengthy documentation.
The Ministry's efforts aim at bolstering wage payment processes amid rising financial expectations and contribute to better management of payroll, making the employment experience more reliable for workers across the private sector. With this shift, the UAE's WPS is further establishing itself as a central element in promoting fairness and transparency within its labor market.
