As mandated by California labor laws, the Division of Apprenticeship Standards has started posting proposed new and revised apprenticeship standards online. This move is part of an effort to include new work processes and occupations within California's apprenticeship framework.

Stakeholders can subscribe for updates on these postings and provide input on proposed standards. Recent additions include growing fields such as cybersecurity and AI/machine learning, reflecting the evolving job market and the need for skilled workers in emerging industries.
