The Indian embassy in the UAE has issued a caution to its citizens, alerting them about an increase in fraudsters targeting job seekers with fake offers. Scammers are reportedly advertising non-existent jobs while requesting payment for visa processing through unverified channels.
Embassy officials emphasized the importance of verifying job offers directly through official channels before proceeding to avoid falling victim to these scams, which have a significant impact on unsuspecting applicants, particularly those from lower economic backgrounds seeking employment abroad.
