The Philippine Embassy has reported numerous instances where applicants are deceived into paying fees for nonexistent job placements. Red flags include requests for payments via Western Union and providing vague job details or no legitimate contract. Job seekers are urged to verify offers through official channels such as the Philippine Overseas Labour Office and ensure they are not sending money to fraudsters posing as legitimate employers.
